In issue # 10 of the Newsletter of Women in Mining Argentina, the great advances regarding the participationof women in the mining industry in the public sector and at the union level stand out. In this special edition dedicated to World Environment Day, the recognition by the Senate of the Nation chaired by Dr. Cristina Fernández de Kirchner to the Argentine Mining Workers Association (AOMA) for the inclusion of women mining workers in the industry stands out.
Additionally, in the public sector the female role in the industry is also recognized through the swearing in of Flavia Royón, who assumed as Secretary of Mining and Energy of the Province of Salta.

En la edición número #10 del Boletín Informativo de Women in Mining Argentina destacan los grandes avances respecto a la participación de la mujer en la industria minera en el sector público y a nivel gremial.
Destacan en este especial dedicado al Día Mundial del Medio Ambiente, el reconocimiento por parte del Senado de la Nación presidido por la Dra. Cristina Fernández de Kirchner a la Asociación Obrera Minera Argentina (AOMA) por la inclusión de la mujer trabajadora minera a la industria.
Adicional, en el sector público también es reconocido el rol femenino en la industria a través de la juramentación de Flavia Royón, quien asumió como Secretaria de Minería y Energía de la Provincia de Salta.
