International Women in Mining is pleased to announce that Ludivine Wouters has joined the IWiM Board, contributing governance expertise to support the organisation’s growth and agenda.
Ludivine Wouters is co-founder and managing partner of Latitude Five where she is in charge of the mining practice.
As a governance and policy consultant with expertise in strategy, transaction management, regulatory, government relations and permitting, Ludivine Wouters assists natural resources companies and investors in emerging markets. She also works with select mining services firms expanding their business across Africa and on technical assistance programmes for African States, focusing on mining policy, governance and taxation.
Ludivine Wouters has experience in political risk insurance within a Lloyd’s insurance syndicate, and significant legal experience in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions and capital markets with leading international firms in Paris; she also worked for an emerging markets investment bank in London, focusing on metals and mining clients, particularly African juniors. Ludivine Wouters holds a Master in Business Law from Université Panthéon Assas (Paris II) and a JD in Business Law from Université Panthéon Sorbonne (Paris I). She is called to the bar in Paris. In 2013, she was nominated by her peers to be one of 100 Global Inspirational Women in Mining.
