Claire Rutkowski has been appointed Bentley Systems’ new chief information officer, joining the company’s executive team.
Rutkowski previously worked as CIO at MWH Global and was responsible for delivering IT strategy and services; supporting around 7000 engineering professionals worldwide. She joined MWH in 1998 and has worked in various regional and global leadership positions during her career.
Rutkowski will work together with executives and business leadership teams, and will report to the company’s operations advancement officer David Hollister.
Hollister said Rutkowski brings knowledge gained from her prior role as CIO, and was confident in her ability boost the company’s IT services.
“Claire is an accomplished IT professional and a strategic thinker who has a history of executing with precision,” Hollister said.
“Her career has thrived with a commitment to quality, a passion for collaboration, and a knack for helping her colleagues leverage technology to improve the way they collaborate across global teams.”
A graduate from Penn State University, Rutkowski has also received several accolades including iCMG’s Global CIO of the Year Award, Constructech’s Top 50 Women in Construction Award, and a Stevie Award for Women in Business.
