Published: 14/02/2015

Several new WIM groups have joined the Women in Mining Community recently or we’ve just become aware of their existence whilst others are getting a new lease on life

We welcome WIM Arizona which was founded by Andrea Vizcarra Mujica who works for Freeport McMoRan as Business Development Manager in Phoenix and who also happens to be our Membership Manager at International WIM Community. She can be reached on and their group is live on LinkedIn

Also in the Americas WIM Uruguay has just had their first meeting with female professionals from mining companies, mining trade associations etc and were hosted by the Department of Mining & Geology. The group is headed by Helga Chulepin, a geologist and mining engineer currently working as Community Realtions & Corporate Social Responsibility Manager for Zamin Resources
