IWRMP Update (August 2018)

Published: 03/09/2018

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Last March, International Women in Resources Mentorship Programme was launched at PDAC in Toronto, Canada. Over the six months, 42 exceptional mentees worked alongside 42 mentors who are influential senior leaders from around the world. They have been meeting either online or in person to conduct mentoring sessions following a structured programme framework. Mentees have received tremendous value from the programme and all mentors have been very engaged.

Thank you to all our sponsors for making this opportunity happen:

Sherritt, Wesdome, Goldcorp, Rio Tinto, Agnico Eagle, Lundin Mining, ABB, Teck, Ministry of Mines of Guyana, SRK Consulting, Telstra, PARO, Newmont, Royer Boots, Metisphere, Women in Mining Canada, Durango Resources

The programme concludes with a celebration event on 21 September 2018 in London, UK. Thanks to Rio Tinto and European Bank of Reconstruction & Development for sponsoring this event.[/vc_column_text][vc_separator][vc_column_text]We have finalised plans for our second International Women in Resources Mentorship Programme (IWRMP) which will launch on 3 February 2019 in Capetown, South Africa to coincide with Mining Indaba.
