UnEarth is a selection of photographs from the 2017 International Women in Mining Photo Competition. The exhibition emphasises the diversity of the mining industry by recognising women from across the globe and the various roles they fill. From mining tin in dormant volcanoes to updating IT systems, and in occupations spanning electricians, engineers, draftswomen, and zoologists, each image tells a unique story of culture, experience, and impact. Despite all these differences, the photographs fit together to unearth common themes in the strength, passion, and determination of women in the industry.

UnEarth was produced through a partnership between International Women in Mining, Minerals and Energy for Development Alliance, University of Western Australia, De Beers Group of Companies, and the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.

The exhibition is being hosted by CORE Innovation Hub. Core Innovation Hub is proud to highlight and celebrate the contributions made by women to the resources sector and feels strongly that diversity is an important driver of innovation.
