To coincide with International’s Womens’ Day, the Economist launched a Glass Ceiling Index that showcases the best countries to work in and the worst. The percentage of women in higher education, labour force, senior management & parliament and other indicators like pay gap, child-care costs, maternity rights & business-school applications determine a country’s score.
