This year marks the tenth anniversary of the Women in the Workplace report. Conducted in partnership with LeanIn.Org, it is the largest study of women in American business. Over the past decade, more than 1,000 companies have participated in the study, and more than 480,000 people have been surveyed about their experiences in the workplace.
For this year's report, information was collected from 281 participating organisations that collectively employ more than ten million people. In these organisations, more than 15,000 employees and more than 280 HR managers were surveyed and shared their views on their policies and practices. The report provides an intersectional view of the specific biases and barriers faced by Asian, Black, Latina and LGBTQ+ women, as well as women with disabilities.
