This study aims to evaluate the policymaking environment for women in extractives, in a two-country case study analysis of the DRC and Botswana. The research is a cross-sectional analysis with a policymaking lens. The findings indicate that the main challenge for Batswana and Congolese women when engaging in extractive sector policymaking is the ineffective policymaking processes currently in place.
