In 2015 the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), or Global Goals, were created. The 2030 agenda is about leaving no one behind. SDG 5 aims to achieve political, economic, and social equality for all women and is presented as a necessary milestone to achieving all 17 SDGs.
