The IWiM 2017 photo competition was transformed into the Unearth Photo Exhibition.
This collection of over 40 inspiring visual stories of women in mining from around the world including metallurgists, drillers, buyers, safety officers, geologists, engineers, drafters, environmental scientists, artisanal miners is available to all to showcase the diversity and achievements of women in mining world-wide.
The Unearth Photo Exhibition has already been seen at conferences like Mining Indaba in 2018 and PDAC in 2019, and continues to tour the World at the request of sponsors, supporters and like-minded organisations; it has been presented in Mongolia, Solomon Islands, Chile, USA and Indonesia and remains available.
The collection can be provided either as panels or as a slide show. The panels are available in a number of languages. The collection is made available free of charge for events, gatherings and initiatives which align with IWiM’s purpose and values.
