Bechtel will be working alongside ERA and major stakeholder Rio Tinto to restore the land to the status of its surrounding World Heritage listed Kakadu National Park. A collaborative project, this project will be developed in consultation with the Mirarr Traditional Owners and will benefit the Jabiru community.

What You’ll Be Doing:
As Civil / Earthworks Supervisor, on a 2/1 FIFO roster working on site at Jabiru in the Northern Territory, your role will involve overseeing contractors, undertaking geotextile installation, civil, bulk excavation and fill, and related activities within Pit 3 and surrounds.
Supervising and directing the civil contractors, subcontractors and other workers assigned to your area, you will be responsible for the daily management of construction, site administration, and undertaking overview and control of all safety, quality, progress, schedule and cost controls.
What You’re Good At:
To be successful in your new role, you will possess relevant qualifications, and/or extensive, demonstrated work experience in construction field of large projects, as well as experience in civil/earthworks, and cross supervision.
Confident in your ability to undertake and administer small to medium capital projects, you will also have knowledge of construction technologies and supervisory functions relating to field activities.
You will have knowledge of close client secondment interaction, EPCM contract Management, and the Contractor(s) and their subcontractor’s responsibilities.
A formal offer of this site-based FIFO position will be contingent upon passing a medical examination.
