The Honour A Woman movement is finalising its four-year endeavour to address inequality in the Order of Australia. In November, the three co-founders, Elizabeth Hartnell-Young, Carol Kiernan and Ruth McGowan OAM, are celebrating what has been achieved since 2017 and reporting on what still needs to happen in order to embed equality in Australia’s highest awards. They will be joined for the event by Denis Moriarty AM, Our Community, Libby Lyons, Director, Workplace Gender Equality Agency and journalist and academic, Dr Jenna Price. It will include an ‘Ask us Anything’ session about gender and the Order of Australia.
