MOVING FROM THE INTEGRATION TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF WOMEN IN MINING
For 14 years ITC has been dedicated to highlighting the advancement of women in mining, while shedding light on opportunities available for them to obtain decent and productive working environments. Through a combination of economic changes, education, and the efforts of human rights and labour advocates, women have gained access to careers, opportunities and rights they have previously been denied. Despite these advances however, women in many countries and sectors of the economy still face significant challenges.
Attend this conference and get an opportunity to reflect on how far women in mining have come over the past 13 years. Join other women to trade skills, get solutions, and inspire one another to become exceptional leaders in this industry.
