Job Description
Position Summary
The Demand & Supply Planning Manager will partner with Commercial Business, Sales, Supply Planning and Finance to develop a medium to long term forecast by customer using best in class processes and systems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Build relationships with Commercial Business and Sales teams to understand the business trends, strategy, and goals
- Present Demand Plan to key stakeholders in a clear manner that reflects the data, decisions, key changes, and 18-month strategy of the division
- Actively review process, inputs, outputs, and internal expectations for continuous improvement of the Demand portion of the S&OP process
- Work with S&OP Analyst to automate and improve reporting tools
- Work with SME to fully utilize SAP IBP planning capabilities
- Lead the daily Forecast to Orders process and ensure completion of all capacity constrained items for review
- Maintain master data, system alerts, and KPI’s
Education and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in supply chain management, operations, mathematics, or a related field
- S&OP Training, APICS Certification or IBF Certification a plus
- 3 years of experience using MS Office applications (such as Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and/or Access)
- 3 years of experience working within supply chain functions
- 3 years of hands-on information gathering, analysis and management reporting
- 3 years of hands-on experience with modeling, analysis, and simulations tools

- Strong presentation and speaking skills, ability to tell a story and gain alignment on the plan

- Strong communication skills, with a proven ability to understand key concepts and communicate with business stakeholders
- Strong organizational skills, as well as the ability to perform in a command-and-control role under pressure and manage multiple priorities with competing demands
- Strong analytical, data-processing, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in process formulation and improvement
- Proficiency in working in a fast-paced, complex, dynamic, multicultural business environment
- Data gathering, and quantitative and qualitative data analysis, including business process metrics and measures linking to business KPIs.
