Purpose of Role
The Continuous Improvement Manager – Administrative will be leading the efforts of rolling out our continuous improvement efforts within all of our administrative functions. Continuous Improvement Manager – Administrative provides leadership to drive continuous improvement into our DNA within our Administrative functions. This role will focus on guiding initiative success through process management, helping all employees become systematic problem solvers, and developing our next tier of CI leadership.

Key Responsibilities:
- Drive Efficiency: Transform the culture within our administrative functions by introducing lean concepts to improve safety, cost and quality.
- Develop Talent: Teach, train and coach to process management, delivering standard processes, information sharing and problem solving to support business needs.
- Cultivate Autonomy: Grow and develop current employees so that they can work independently in lean roles, under your guidance.
- Guide Collaboration: Provide leadership and facilitation for cross-functional process improvement, while ensuring a systematic approach is followed.
- Enhance Rapport: Build relationships with those you support by becoming a valued resource and leader of process improvement.
- Adapt and Support: Capable of walking into many different scenarios, and proactively meeting that team in the middle to support and grow their operations for the better.
- Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.
Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years experience leading teams through change, and driving results through development, implementation, and ongoing coaching of lean practices.
- Proven experience in deploying a wide range of lean tools such as Value Stream Mapping, Process Management, 6S, Problem Solving, etc., preferably in administrative functions.
- Experience in coaching others to foster a collaborative environment that encourages professional growth and development.
- Must be able to facilitate and influence in a virtual environment. Occasional travel required.
