Sr. Manufacturing Engineer

Purpose of Role

This job will engage and drive engineering improvements to the facility in terms of process and/or equipment enhancement and drive technology advancements into the daily operations. A person in this role will connect with all departments to understand processes and opportunities, develop creative solutions, and drive implementation to enhance key metrics in the plant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Focus Area: Drive Safety improvements in all processes through effective reviews of existing and future equipment and processes running in the facility through sound Engineering controls.
  • Focus Area: Gain understanding of the equipment and processes, and drive improvements and/or enhancements to the existing systems in terms of engineering controls that improve equipment reliability quality controls.
  • Focus Area: Work in conjunction with other departments to understand vision, future demand loads, and drive strategies to develop and deliver systems that aid the facility in readiness to deliver on the strategy.
  • Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

  • Any equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered for candidates that have the ability to perform the objectives above.
  • BS degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering.
  • 7+ years experience in complex Manufacturing environment with an emphasis in delivering Engineering improvements and Capital deployment.
  • Experience with Electrical Controls and Mechanical background a plus.
