Job Summary
Sandvik is seeking applications from motivated individuals for Sales Engineer Equipment based in Jakarta.
The role is responsible to promote and sell the organization’s products and services within an assigned geographic area, product range, or list of customer accounts to achieve significant sales targets. To apply and use knowledge of sales process and equipment to support front line sales representatives in promoting and selling the organization’s products and services within assigned geographic area, product range or list of customer accounts to achieve significant sales targets.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for achievement of budgeted revenue.
- Responsible for price quality in line with Sandvik’s processes and rules.
- Develop sales opportunities for Sandvik product lines within the defined territory or set of customers.
- Develop a Sales plan for designated territory or set of customers, as well as pipeline opportunities.
- Ensure the Customer complies with Sandvik terms and conditions of sale.
- Liaise between Customers and Sandvik to ensure all issues are settled in a timely manner.
- Provide the Company with regular status reports on business activities, opportunity development and overall satisfaction of the Customers base (CRM).
- Work as part of the account management team for local or global accounts to identify customer sales opportunities.
- Ensure CRM/ sales Tools are up to date with valid cases and customer visit reports.
- Create Sales Tools Case and updating Sales Tools to won / loss status.
- Identifying and profiling key target customers, markets, and sectors especially in Surface Mine, Digitalization and Automation.
- Handling customer questions, inquiries, application studies, quotes/proposals, and complaints.
- Setting sales goals and developing sales strategies to penetrate the new market & established customers.
- Using Salesforce, provide weekly and monthly reports on sales numbers, achievement, and sales visit activity.
- Working with Surface Drilling BLM & Automation BLM.

- Report to Sales Manager Equipment

- Comply to Sandvik policy

- Travel from site to site within country
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- > 4 years experiences Sandvik Equipment and technology or appropriated products.
- > 3 years experiences as salesperson in heavy equipment industry.
- Candidates should have experienced in Mining or Construction Industries
- Graduated (S1) of Formal University qualification e.g. Mechanical Engineering or Mining Engineering are preferred
- Proficient in English communications verbal and written.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, presentation, along with high level of professionalism, honesty, and integrity
