Following a tremendously successful 13th Annual Women in Mining Conference in February, ITC is proud to host the Women in Mining Catch-Up and African Network Forum. This prestigious event will discuss the current statistics and inclusion of women in mining over the past 13 years. We will also look at the opportunities brought forward for women in mining through integrating ESG into the business process, promoting leadership, inclusive and sustainable empowerment of women in the African mining sector, as well as highlighting the role played by women in mining forums in advancing the African Mining sector.
The CatchโUp Forum will feature women from all over Africa who have made visible contributions above and beyond their daily responsibilities.

There have been impressive strides made in gender parity within the mining industry over the past 13 years. African women have ascended in key positions making a difference in eradicating challenges that affect them within mining. With mines moving towards a more technologically savvy mining industry, itโs very important for organisations to upskill their workforce to work alongside technology.
WiMSA Board Member ๐ฃ๐ฒ๐๐ฟ๐ผ ๐ฑ๐ ๐ฃ๐ถ๐๐ฎ๐ป๐ถ and Committee Chairperson ๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ธ๐๐ต๐ฎ ๐ก๐ฎ๐ถ๐ฑ๐ผ๐ผ will be speaking at this conference.
