The second ECU Education Series Breakfast – Indigenous Relations – Its Good Business will be held on Thursday, 01 August.
This event is in partnership with ECU and this edition of the WA Mining Club 2019 Education Series will address balancing the needs of cultural heritage and business for the mining industry and the State.
We anticipate our speakers will discuss the importance of generating jobs and business opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. We hope to hear the next steps that the mining industry should take in order to engage the next generation of Indigenous people and how to position working in mining as a long and enjoyable career option, and a positive community member.
Our panel for this event is:
Allan James, Chief Executive Officer at Carey Mining
Katina Law, Chair at Indigenous Professional Services
Ian Wells, Chief Financial Officer at Fortescue Metals Group
Kyra Bonney-Galante, General Manager Indigenous Strategy at Chandler Macleod
