On Thursday the 10th of September, 40 men and women from Queensland’s mining industry gathered in Moranbah for the WIMARQ event, which had the theme of “Bring your boss to speed networking”.
The event was very successful with many new networks formed.
Mark Swinnerton, General Manger of Goonyella Riverside Mine said, “developing a diverse workforce is one step, however ensuring our workplace is inclusive is critical to make that diversity sustainable.”
BMA Goonyella Riverside Mine sponsored the event.
WIMARQ Moranbah meets every second Thursday of the month, Moranbah Black Nugget Hotel, 1971 from 6:30pm and all are welcome.
