Grow your emotional intelligence
The Dysart WIMARQ volunteers invite you to enjoy a virtual networking event, with guest speaker Nikki Nagin discussing ‘Emotional Intelligence’.
Nikki is an electrical engineer who rose to maintenance manager in just eight years at BHP, and was recognised for her achievements when awarded the 2017 Exceptional Young Woman in Resources award by WIMARQ and the Queensland Resources Council. The award also recognised her work in mentoring women to follow in her wake.
With exposure to a variety of commodities under her belt, Nikki credits her success to focusing on building strong relationships through emotional intelligence, as well as sheer determination and hard work. Her supporters include her dog Percy and fiancé Eric. Nikki will explain how emotional intelligence affects personal interactions and share tips on how you can grow your Emotional Intelligence Quotient (EIQ).
