Mine Your Potential has been consistently growing year after year since the inaugural event in 2013. This year’s Virtual Mine Your Potential Conference will consist of two – half-days which focus on personal and professional development for people working in the mining and nuclear sectors. Participants will gain knowledge and skills while engaging with like-minded people. This event is open to all people working in, or interested in, the mining and/or nuclear industries.

Our virtual Mine Your Potential conference is fast approaching! The conference will be held over two mornings on September 24th and 25th from 8:30 am to 12:00 pm. The conference will feature keynote speaker Jamile Cruz, interactive networking, a panel discussion and two breaks out sessions each morning.

Session One :

– Pitch Your Potential, Charlene SanJenko

– Natural Resources in SK: Indigenous Perspectives, Debra Shewfelt & Sheldon Wuttunee

– Gender Diversity in Mining 2020, Courtnay Hughes

Session Two:

– Effective Leadership of Virtual Teams, Dave Smith

– Energy Conversations: Creating an Irresistibly Attractive Narrative, Lianne Lefsrud

– Hudbay Women’s Network, Landice Yestrau

Registration is still open with options for student admission ($50) or regular admission ($135). All student and regular admission tickets will have access to speaker presentations following the conference.
