Ask a mining lawyer … for free!!
Mining lawyers deal with a wide range of day-to-day topics including contracts, the environment, First Nations, procurement, infrastructure, construction, claims, effectively engaging regulatory bodies and negotiating with difficult personalities along the way. All of these topics and more go into building and maintaining a mining project.
What have you always wanted to ask a lawyer?
Bring your questions and prepare to engage in lively discussion. We aim to provide clear and useful information that can help you in the future.
Our speakers from Fasken Martineau will be Charlene Hiller and David Little.
Charlene’s practice includes environmental, energy, mining and infrastructure. She advises on contracts, obtaining environmental assessment and project approvals and arrangements with First Nations. Charlene also advises on procurement documents and processes and construction, supply, services and related contracts for infrastructure, commercial, industrial and other projects for clients.
David focuses on construction and infrastructure projects, procurement, public-private partnerships, service contracts and other development projects, including mining. David has extensive experience with major facilities and transportation, energy and other mega projects.
